Witty Podcast Series Demonstrates Healthy Aging and Offers Wellness Tips for Life’s Universal Transition
COLUMBUS, OHIO, December 18, 2017 – Aging – everybody’s doing it – and Columbus author, coach and educator John Schuster wants to help you approach the process in a productive and healthy way. Stories for the Ages, a new podcast series produced by WOSU Public Media, explores the process of aging from all angles. It gives listeners a dynamic look at how to handle the changes in life that come after retirement when living situations change and wisdom gained throughout life comes to fruition.
In each 30-40 minute episode, Schuster welcomes guests to discuss their experiences with aging and shares his personal philosophies. Guests range from an 87-year old coach and psychologist to a 60-year old with several encore careers to a retired physician who recently completed the Camino de Santiago, a 500-mile hike in northwestern Spain often traveled as a pilgrimage. While Stories for the Ages is aimed at an audience 55 plus, it offers valuable lessons for listeners in any age group. Through a wide range of topics, engaging banter, and the often humorous look at the changes that come later in life, this podcast fills a void in the audio and digital space.
“Stories for the Ages is a unique series that offers new perspectives to aging Americans through a community of voices,” said Tom Rieland, General Manager of WOSU Public Media. “John not only leads thoughtful, informative discussions, but his research and personal journey provide important insights.”
The 5-part podcast series was produced by John Schuster with production assistance from Eric French, Senior Broadcast Engineer at WOSU Radio.
